While my boss busy talking about SLS Roadster, i'm now busy talking with my father's friend about the weirdest things that they have in the backroom. Here's what i pick. And oh, all cars sold in Indonesia is about 3x more expensive in the US, just in case you wondering.
There's an SLK250, made in 2011, for 91.5k. 1500miles on the clock btw. Very clean, certified pre-owned by merc. I kinda like it, but that big face is just akward.
Or, for 55k, have a bus. Mercedes-Benz OH1521. The bus was so huge that it have to parked outside. Certified pre-owned, 8.4L inline-6 diesel, 210hp, 1000lb-ft of torque, 250k miles on the clock, normal for a bus. Me want.
Really nice gelandewagen. 1995 G300, Certified pre-owned, 125k on the clock, 30k. Quite badass.
SL320 for 20k. Hidden in the backroom. Not certified yet, radio is broken, but the rest of the car was working quite good. 100k kilometers on the clock.
Another bus, but this one is Mitsubishi. My father friend said he keep the mitsu because well, everybody could trade anything to his dealer. That's very common in Indonesia. Anyway, it's cost you 5k. Not certified 1996 Mitsubishi bus, 3.2L i6 Diesel, 100hp plus 350lb-ft of torque. 350k miles.
That's the line up for now. Pick one.

I've got dibs on the 95 SL320.
Can you pick me up at the airport?

Well, i can.
It's very clean tough. The only problem was the radio was broken, somehow. They hide it and fix it now.

Is it just me or are buses kinda cool? I would really want to drive one at least once.

Ya, me too.
I really want to drive a bus so bad that i get myself a Bus and truck license. It's not that bad tough, just really long.
Maybach 62 is 6.2meters long, while the big bus up there is about 10 meters long. And you sit about 2-3 meters from the front wheel. It's make it harder for aim at first, but when you master it, it's easy. It even comes with cruise control and ABS.

I like that design of SLK250 except for two things. The first of those two is the comically over-sized Mercedes-Benz badge, which is nearly bigger than the headlights. The second is the back end when its roof is up. Incredibly disproportionate. It's still a looker from all angles with the top up.

That last one looks like a cartoon. The wheelbase looks to be about only half of the overall length.

Well, that's called 3/4 bus here in indonesia. Very scary to drive, because in high speed the bus tends to roll over because of short wheelbase.

We just bought one as the one modern car in the household, collected last night. Still divided on the looks, but got it cheap and it ticked a lot of boxes of what we're looking for.
It looked nice in the dark... lol

Since you have a bus license, you should take the bus for a test drive. :)
